Our History

• Opened as 'Montessori Children's Cottage'
• Established in 1990 as a primary (ages 3-6) program
• Incorporated in 1992
• Moved to a renovated historic dedicated facility
• Expanded adding Lower Elementary in 1993
• Gained non-profit status
• Moved to specifically suited modular facility in 1999
• Moved to Covington in 2001
• Expanded adding Upper Elementary
• Changed name to 'Montessori School of Covington'
• Expanded, adding Middle School
• Moved to Clark's Grove, Covington
• Moved into our new facility at 4108 Summers St. in Covington
